“Art is a very special thing to have in your heart to express

I have always liked colours…..No! to put it more succinctly, I have always LOVED colours.

I used to say, when asked, that red is my favourite colour, but really like children there are NO favourites.

When I get out my art ‘supplies’ it is to play and as I play I become immersed and get such pleasure and satisfaction….. It’s simply a joy.

I prefer wood over a canvas surface, the canvas dances too much but the wood grabs the colour and holds it fast.

Mostly I use nail polish, such richness… some times sugar or clipping for texture. Originally the use of spaghetti was just
for a laugh, now a stakeholder in the design… Although it can misbehave when varnished, secured or rained on (wavey lines).

Because of the pleasure I glean from my pieces…. it affords me great respect and apprication for all the local art Peterborough boasts.

As long as the piece makes me smile then I am happy. If you buy a piece, I hope you smile and it makes you happy.
