Atelier Ludmila creates and delivers puppet making & performance workshops for classrooms, community groups, festivals and all sorts of special events.
Classroom activities are designed with thorough lesson plans which can be designed to support curriculum tie-ins, while keeping the experience fun and engaging for all the various levels, abilities and desires of learners. Facilitator, Laurel Paluck has been trained through the Royal Conservatory’s Artist in Education foundation course and has delivered programming to learners through the Ontario Arts Council Arts in Education Program to schools, and conducts studio workshops at the Art Gallery of Peterborough.
Community activities provide hands-on demonstrations with artist built puppets and provide all the materials and tools needed for each participant to create and animate their very own puppet and/or to create group puppets which can be kept as mascots. A really wonderful way to engage folks of all ages, define community goals and provide loads of interactive fun.
