    Biography
Freddie Towe is a painter and mixed media artist relocated from Toronto in 2014 to live beside the
York (Shawashgon) River just north of Bancroft.
An innate sense of colour, and quirky interplay between humour, light and darkness are evident in their/her work. This visual language transports viewers to mysterious and enchanting worlds.
Freddie began showing paintings, sculptures and mixed media in various galleries in Toronto in 2003.
In the last few years they/she have shown work at Aird Gallery and Paul Petro Contemporary Art in Toronto, Art Gallery of Bancroft,  A Place for the Arts, The Muse and Bancroft Area Studio Tour in Bancroft as well as Wildewood Gallery in Maynooth.
