Pinch-pot workshop
Part 1 March 9 7-8:30pm
Part 2 March 23 7-8:30pm
Come and learn the subtle meditative art of making pinch-pots. Inspired by the work of ceramic
artist Paulus Berensohn and his book Finding Ones Way with Clay, John will guide participants
through the process of making a pinch pot. In part one of the workshop participants will make a
pot or bowl and in part 2 they will glaze their work in preparation for final firing.
Final pots will be available to pick up from the gallery 2 weeks after the second workshop.

Mosaic Workshop

Explore the art and techniques of making mosaic panels from broken tiles and ceramics in this
two-part workshop. In part 1 we will make a mosaic design and cement it onto a backing tile. In
part 2 we will grout the final work to complete the mosaic making process.
